Antonio Negret is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from the USC School of Cinematic Arts, with a minor in Theatre. He is a citizen of Colombia and the European Union, and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Recently, Negret was a part of the prestigious Warner Bros Director’s Workshop, which resulted in directing multiple episodes for WB shows Arrow, The 100, Legends of Tomorrow, and Forever. He also directed multiple commercials and viral shorts for the World War Zand GI Joe: Retaliation campaigns.

Negret’s most recent feature was Transit, an action/thriller starring Jim Caviezel (The Passion of the Christ), James Frain (True Blood), and Harold Perrineau (Lost). Previous to that endeavor Negret directed Seconds Apart, a supernatural horror/thriller produced by After Dark Films. which made multiple ‘Top 10 Horror Film’ lists for 2011. Negret’s first feature film Towards Darkness premiered in competition at the Tribeca Film Festival. It starred America Ferrera (Ugly Betty), and was distributed by MGM, HBO, and Peace Arch Entertainment. Negret was subsequently named by The Hollywood Reporter as one of their ‘Top 10 Latino Directors to Watch.’
