Where are you from and what inspired you to become a television writer?

I grew up in North Carolina. The fun of telling stories and the hope of reaching a wide, varied audience inspired me.

Who is your all time favorite television character and why?

Ernie Bilko (“The Phil Silvers Show”). Always likable and hilarious, in spite of (or perhaps because of) questionable motives.
