
An experienced 1st Assistant Director for many years in TV & Film, Lisa Demaine’s television credits include Westworld, Ray Donovan, Lucifer, Training Day, Grace & Frankie, and Deadwood. Her feature film work includes Seabiscuit, I am Sam and Save the Last Dance. Lisa has also worked as a 2nd unit director on such films as Joe & Max, Things to Do in Denver When You’re Dead, and Bring It On Again.
Lisa has also directed several short films, including Passport, which premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival, and Waiting, starring Richard Schiff and W. Earl Brown, that screened at multiple film festivals. Her most recent piece, the half-hour comedy spec pilot Hot Break, is currently garnering awards on the festival circuit.
She has participated in the Sony TV Diversity Directing Program and The DGA DDI Initiative, and after completing the Warner Bros. Directors’ Workshop, Lisa directed an episode of Lucifer (FOX).
